Yep I agree - it is very sad.

I know that many leagues have advertising everywhere including all over the uniforms. I am sure we will see that before long.

im really surprised that this hasnt happened before. look at all the euro soccer teams, most of them have corporate sponsorship very boldly emblazoned on their shirts (sony, parmalat, etc)...im just hoping it doesnt reach ridiculous proportions.

even now, every damn situation in the game has a sponsor. "true value will make a generous $50 contribution for every walk" or "this pitching change brought to you by hotels.com"

there is no escape.
