you download a league file for a league that you are in....you make changes and go to your team setup them import your rosters, the commish will then go into his file and import them from the league server, then its all done..
unless you have live sims that is, then you get invite's to that....now depending on what league you are in and what you commish is like will determine how FAR you can go (i.e. release players on your own, post contract extensions or email them, etc.) hopefully that helped....if you are new to online leagues, try and see if you can get an invite to a league during a online sim so you can see how things are done and that may also help you, but until you actually are in a online league, the answer to your question kind of varies IMO

Well I can take a shot at this.
You basically download a file, which gives you the moves that everyone in the league has done and lets you see what everyone has done or is doing. You do this after each sim. You go to team setup and see the export team to FTP and click on this and this will send your lineup to the commish so he can apply any lineup changes or pitching changes to the main league file so that everyone can see it. Cutting and trading players is usually done on websites in forums and the commish executes the trades for everyone. AAA or TWBL Both these leagues are looking for GMs who are willing to put a little effort into the league. One is ficitional and the other is major league players. Thanks Art ps anymore questions add me to your aim Artermis33, icq 10309565 if you have any more questions or just post them on here. |

Basically its like playing solo except much more difficult and you have interaction with other people in the league. You can talk to them through the message board, email or AIM talking about trades or whatever you want to talk about. You make whatever roster changes you'd like to, and export via FTP. The commish will then import via FTP and run the sim. If you have live sims, whoever is online will be in a chat room and the commish will anounce the scores, any certain feats during the game as well as standings and injuries that happened during this sim. Then the trades and transactions are placed in by the commisioner. Once that's done, he/she will then upload the new file to the website and you download it. Then you can make changes all over again and export.
It's much better than playing solo IMO. You should give it a shot. I know I'm in one league that is very competitve and although my team is horrible, It's still my favorite league.
