A little help Pierre, please....

I've successfully edited one career using your editing program, however when I tried to modify the career year for Jose Canseco, (changing his rookie year from 1986 to 1991), I can't get it to save.
Step by step... what do I need to do?

Step by Step ,what are you doing, what are you trying to change ?
in witch screen ?, stat name, etc....

I went into batting/career and changed the years of a player's career from 1986 through 1998 to 1991 through 2003. I wanted the years of a player's service to be current. I then saved player and exited. Then I restarted OOTP6, and saw no changes.
I have already given a different player minor league stats and they were saved, did I miss or forget a step?
