Arguing bad calls....what dose it do?

I was just wondering if this has an effect on the game later on or is it purely cosmetic? Thanks

There was argument as to what it should do, but ultimately I think nothing was done and you just get yourself thrown out of the game.

It seems like it does nothing, but the last two times I have been kicked out of the game, my team was down by 5+ runs. My team scored 7 and 8 runs respectively in both games and won them.

Not that I think it does anything, but I just found it weird.

It lets me get ejected so I can sim the rest of a game I no longer feel like playing

Sometimes it's just too frustrating to hit N, despite the fact it doesn't do any good to argue.

Considering the penchant for arguing in the forum, I think it gets used alot!

Since none of us helped develop the game, I don't think any of us know the real answer. But my opinion is that it is cosmetic. To the person above who said they had a call changed, you full of - well you know. It just is an added part of the reality of MLB.
