Two-Time Rookie of the Year
My player George Root (World League) is quite unique. Sure, I did sorta create him before the draft and I made him a Babe Ruth of sorts. Using my 'God' powers, and all that
His first year, he goes 15-12 and wins Rookie of the Year Second year, he has some trouble early, so I step in and switch him to Right Field. Where he hits 52 home runs, and wins Rookie of the Year again. I'd think this is a bit unique. (Another weird ROY quirk involved one of the two leagues not even awarding ROY, probably due to a lack of Rookies) [Drafted in 1st round, 1st overall pick, by Houston in 2012... Earned first career win on 3/24/2012... Had first career hit (double) on 3/29/2012, off Otis Salmons (NY)... Hit first career homerun on 6/12/2012, off Christopher Roche (CHI)... Won Rookie Of The Year in 2012, going 15-12, 3.87 ERA... Won Gold Glove at Pitcher in 2012... Won Player of the Week award on 5/8/2013, hitting .480 with 5 HR, 11 RBI... Won Batter of the Month award on 6/1/2013, hitting .430 with 11 HR, 25 RBI... Was selected to the 2013 Allstar game... Won Batter of the Month award on 7/1/2013, hitting .310 with 11 HR, 21 RBI... Won Batter of the Month award on 10/1/2013, hitting .408 with 11 HR, 24 RBI... Won Rookie Of The Year in 2013, hitting .360 with 52 HR, 115 RBI...] |

I just had a guy who hit .286 with 22 HR beat out both:
- a hitter with the new rookie record for BA (.343) who was second in the league with SB (63) and RBI (118) - a pitcher with the new rookie record for Wins (18) and SO (309), who went 18-7 with a 2.95 ERA Um, can I have some of what the game is smoking? OOTP5, btw. Is there an editor out there that lets you fix this?

Middle Earth has rolled by like an army of Mumakil. It has been erased like a slate, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Frodo. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... beings will come Frodo. Beings will most definitely come." - Gladden Field of Dreams |

Sure, find the "test file" for the player that the game awarded ROY to, delete that out of his file then find the player deserving and add it to his.
If you use the in game "player html report" when viewing the player card you can find where to locate the card and the number(p71.html) or whatever number the player is by right clicking and selecting properties on the player html report. Then use windows explorer to find him. The file would be the text file that matches the html file number.
