Game freezing/lagging during editing.

Hey guys,

First off, thanks for the great new game (and all those before).

OOTP6 is freezing occasionally when editing players, including hanging up my system while typing in the edit box ( as in players name or birthplace). Ususally it returns after a few minutes, but the last time I had to end the process to get out of it. This occured pre and post patch.

Additionally it seems to be taxing my system in a way that I find odd considering my specs:

Windows XP
Pentium 4 3.0 GHz
1 GB RAM
60 GB Hard drive with 17 GB free space.
NVIDIA GeForce FX Go5600 video card.

Is there any reason OOTP6 should make a dent in my system? I am relatively computer savvy, but maybe I'm missing something here.

Should I turn off Direct 3D? If I should could someone explain why that would conflict with my system in such a way?
