ootp6 stuff

okay, i just want to be able to get all the ootp6 stuff before I get the game which is tomorrow.

I already got the Ankit 2004 MLB Stadiums, now I just want to get the face packs, record books, and the 2004 start of the season rosters.

on http://www.driscoll-carignan.com/ootp/ , at the bottom is MLB Database (through 4/4), what exactly is that? is that the 2004 rosters or just the facepack?

and about the CBL rosters, where can i find a link to the opening day rosters cause I've been searching around the board and I dont know if this is it or not

My suggestion is to start with the game in it's raw form... get used to it and you will begin to see what options / addons will benefits you. Everyone is different and there are no specific answers as to what addons are best.

what? well that doesnt really answer anything that i'm looking for. But i get what your talking about. can i use the same ootp5 pictures for ootp6 like the trophy, default face, and hall of fame plaques? also are there any ootp6 history/record books or can I use ootp5 ones?

I brought my solo fictional league over from OOTP5 into OOTP6. I also brought over the photo packs, logos and stadium packs from 5 and all work find in my league.

Ditto, Dave. My transition was as smooth as silk with all stadiums, logos, etc.

OOTP 5 pictures will work fine with OOTP6. The MLB database on DD's site is not for the game, but instead to see how MLB categorises its players. (correct, DD?). You will get the facepack on that site though - it's the one called 'regular'.

Your second link is the CBL2.0. It comes with complete record books, past champions, career leaders and HoF. You will also need to download logos - tyr JoeRock's excellent www.ootpdownlosdcenter.com . There's loads of great ones there!
