I know that this isn't using the original nickname file, but when I was using a modified one made by some board member...there was a guy nicknamed "Dr. Caller ID". Now that was freakin annoying....

Dr. Caller ID is 1 for 4 today...

300. I'm a major leaguer, baby.

I have Luis "The Elephant" Barache on one of my teams, along with Robert "Axe" Esparza.

I had tried to draft Kenya "The Octopus" Nobuyori, but someone drafted him about 2 slots ahead of me.

I thought having a team with the Axe, Octopus, and the Elephant would be fun.

I had a custom nickname file and had a guy in one of my leagues with the nickname "Extra Cheese". I thought that was pretty humorous.

I have one player (a pitcher no less) that the game decided to nickname "nine fingers".

I love adding random nicknames to the file...

Kind of like Mordecai "Three Fingers" Brown and Antonio "Twelve Fingers" Alfonseca?

I strictly add numbers. I find it easier to keep them together.

Just take a look in your ootp6/data directory. THe nicknames are in a text file there.

I've installed a custom one I found on Baseball Sim Central I think it was. However, prior to that, I have a player whose nickname is simply "Golden".

I had a catcher named "Pudge". Which isn't that strange, I guess. But he was unusually short and unusually heavy...

Markus may have beefed up the AI more than we realized.

I manually set one of my player's nickname in my solo league to "The Rainmaker" after he had half his starts delayed by rain in his rookie season.

Poor guy couldn't buy a complete game.
