DL Problem

When a player is on the DL,and not on the 40-man roster,you cant remove the player from the dl to the majors without putting him on the 40 man roster (which is invlaid), so you either release him or leave him on the dl.

Move him from the DL to AAA, put him on the 40 man roster, and then move him back up to the majors.

what if the player refuses to go to the minors, like in my situation?

I had the same problem.

I dealt with it by clicking on the guy and putting editor on. From there, I went to bottom left and clicked show character. From there i changed loyalty to "loyal, endorses team". After that, he no longer refused the assignment and i was able to put him on triple A, then to the 40 man roster, then to the team after changing the loyalty back to normal

Hopefully they will fix this in a patch so this isn't necessary.

This issue has been already noted in another thread and they're working on a true solution. Another current workaround is to turn off the 40-man roster option, move him to the majors, and then turn the 40-man roster option back on. Not perfect, but at least it's something we can bide our time with.
