Possible Trade/Waiver Problem

Ok let me give you the facts so you can understand my problem..

1) I'm the Mets looking to deal M.Cameron

2) I'm using my first season 2004 in OOTP6

3) In July I traded S.Hitchock tot he Astros for J.Guiether

4) I placed M.Cameron on the trading block

Now this is where it gets wierd and I'm confused.

I received 3 emails in Sempter, 9/15-9/17 actually.

E-mail 1 said - Devil Rays claim M.Cameron off waivers

2 - Atlant claims M.Cameron off waivers

3 - "Our deal with houston fell though, a player didn't claer waivers"

I'm lost here, why are teams claiming M.Cameron? He was never placed on waivers, I doubled check.

I decide to make sure I sitll had my prospect from the Astros deal, sicne a deal with them got revoked. It turns out everything was fine, I have my spec, and they have Hitchock. However, under their transaction news, it says they joined the fun and also put a claim in for M.Cameron.

I don't udnerstand what happened, MC was never on waivers, only trading block, I offered MC in a deal to TB early in the year got it was rejected.

Furthermore, what deal with Houston fell though? I only delt one with them. I'm guessing this e-mail had to do with MC.

In the end, nothing really happened, I still had MC on my team. I looked to see if he would be a dupilcate but there weren't any.

Anyone else of this sort of problem?

Any info or help would be greatly appricated

im getting the samething... its deff a bug.. teams were saying they were caliming my best prospect off waivers and i never placed him on there.. but he never left my team.. just kinda scarey at 1st cause u think the other teams were taken your best player..

i hope this gets fixed.

I hope it gets fixed too. Glad to hear I'm not theonly one though. In a good way b/c if more people have this problemt he greater of a chance it will have in gettign fixed.

It may not be a bug. Since the trade deadline is August 1st, and you put a player on the trade block after that, the game may automatically put the player through waivers to see if it is possible to trade that player after August 1st. If he is claimed, you cannot trade him, but he is automatically pulled off waivers and put back on your team.

Pete, good point, but I'm getting the messages for players and I haven't even used the trade block yet. Funny thing is, it's the same two players that get mentionned every time.

Question regarding waivers, I placed Moises Alou on waivers and he was claimed, by the Dodgers. I wanted to Pull back his waivers, how do I accomplish that?

Simply go to your transactions screen and drag him from the waivers over to the right of the waiver part. It will ask you if you want to remove him from waivers.
