Career ending injury and Waivers...

Great job on OOTP6! I have been enjoying the game SOOO MUCH!

But...
I had something interesting happen when I had a "super-star" player incur a "career over" injury. He had a contract of 12M per year with about 5 or 6 years to go. I did not release him due to the cost that will be incurred to pay off his contract.

For grins, I put him on waivers, I did not expect anyone to claim him due to the injury. I was surprised when a number of teams claimed him. The team that signed him released him shortly thereafter, and I got out of paying his contract.

I do not think this would happen in real life. Perhaps it is a bug in the AI. I think the AI should check the injury status of players to make sure there is not a career ending injury, before it lays a claim.
