best way to manage size of league file

I am looking for the best way to manage the size of the league file for download. I have seen some people just pull out the box scores and some will remove everything that has a modified date older than that of the most recent date simmed. I have seen the size of most league files range from 1.13 mg (zipped) to 17 meg (zipped)

What is the best practice to make the download only of the most current needed information?

Not that i'm an expert but.....

1) You want to remove any Logo's and Almanac's
2) You probably want to take out old boxscores and leave only those from the last sim. The date the box is made is listed.
3) You want to open the League News Box and delete the countless files called p116 or p321 etc. They are generated by OOTP as needed and don't need to be uploaded.

That would give you what I'd consider a "medium" file

If you want to be really "light" you could remove the entire League News Box and take the retired players.

1-make the Almanac it's own seperate zip
2-make the boxlogs it's own seperate zip(not everyone checks them ingame)
3-delete ALL .html files
4-delete photos and logos

This should always leave a low 3mb file.

With the box & logs, you can just put them back in the league news box folder after you make the league file, then upload the ootp pages.
