Thumbs up Ever wonder how many of us buy this game?

Think about it, how many of us really buy this game? I consider this game the BEST sim out there bar none. How awesome is it to just download the game and extras for the game without going to the store, or having to order the game?

I for one cannot say enough about this game. I have a friend I turned away from Diamond Mind and he will never buy anything but OOTP. I just wish in some way we could help spread the word. I don't even remember how I stumbled across this game in the OOTP3 version, but I did, and I bought it, and no other game since have I purchased. But if we could only come up with some other idea of advertising, this game could sell in record numbers.

Ever advertise in Baseball Weekly?

If there is anything we OOTP junkies can do to help other than just spread the word to our friends, please let us know.

Thank you so much for such a complete and awesome baseball sim.

I was too cheap to tattoo it, so I just bought some Shapries and do it every couple days on my kids'...

i think there was an advertisement in Baseball Weekly for one week when OOTP4 came out... not sure....

but yep, I agree, it's a damn fine game and one that satisfies all of my baseball simming needs. I have not purchased one other game for the PC since I found OOTP3. I did go through a little PinMAME phase for a short while, but OOTP is all I need.

I know the wife of one of the Rangers. Maybe I can get her to do one of those temp tatoos across his face so that OOTP sales in Texas can shoot up.

I spread the word to everyone I know including my fantasy leagues... You just gave me another idea, I write for a Baseball/Yankees website & Newsletter. I think I will do a review and a nice plug for the game.

Don't forget to mention about getting-the-kids-tattooed part, thanks.

Yeah there was one, I wander if it generated any sales. I tend to think an ad like that does better than a review in CGW only because I think (IMO only)people who buy gaming magazines aren't really looking for text sims.

I don't have kids, but how about if I shave it into my dogs fur? Kinda like the kids use to do in the back of their head. I can put www.ootpdevelopements.com. He's a dachshund so it will fit!

I remember applying for a job at a software company quite a few years ago. The guy told me flat out he expected to sell 300,000 copies at least. He said the last version sold just about that much. I can tell you for a fact that OOTP is far above that game. What I can't tell you is how many copies they sell.

It's all in the advertising fella's. I know i'll do my best through word of mouth. Hopefully OOTP will get a whole new crowd of H2H junkies.

After playing OOTP5....non-stop... since I got it, I can never buy another console baseball game again.

I was pumped when MVP was coming out, then read about OOTP6, and now forget it. Same with All-star.

Oh well

I turned a friend of mine onto the game. I now look forward to trouncing him in H2H!
