Why would you want to make something that's already been done?
Draft Dodger 2004 MLB Facepack http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...threadid=58737 Check the mods forum to see when the roster league files will be posted. |

I think he wants to make a roster set, not a facepack.

Baseball America IMO is still the best prospect site but unfortunately the last time I checked you have to pay for it.

Yah, you never used to have to pay for it, but you are right, it's no longer free.

the best resource is to buy John Sickel's 2004 Baseball Prospect Book.
The Book contains nearly 1,000 prospects scouted by John! http://www.mastersball.com/sickels/ My Roster file (Version 1.3 CBLCardinals) contains scouting by John on ALL of the prospects in his book! |

They're both great ... must buys, from my perspective. I think Sickels does a better job of rating players, but BA does a better job of assessing individual skills and weaknesses. BA is more tool/ceiling focused and is also heavily influenced by the team's assessments of their own players.
I can find tons of the BA prospect handbook in my local bookstores (then again, I live in the city where they are HQed), Sickels is mail order only. |
