Poll: Yankees: love'em or hate'em?

I just wanted to see how many people are on each side of this debate.

Note: I realize that options 7 and 8 have a lot of overlap, but I want to see how many people hate the Yankees who aren't members of "the Nation".

My loathing for all things Yankee is boundless and utterly irrational. It has nothing to do with any particular Yankee players, or Steinbrenner, or their history of success, or their legions of fans across the globe - it's more a gut-level disgust, like I feel toward mayonnaise and sour cream, only more so. They're up there with the Cowboys, the Raiders, and the Dodgers. My idea of a perfect Sunday in September or October includes convincing disembowelings of all four of those teams, simultaneously.

I'm the only one who voted for the "I'm a Red Sox fan" option?!?! Hey, I hate the Yanks as much as the next guy but I'm bound more by loyalty to the Sox than by hatred towards the Yankees. Therefore, with the I'm a Sox fan option I gotta go with that first.

PERHAPS you could call them best team of the 20th century. But here in the 21st century, they have a grand total of ZERO World Series titles. So yeah, they do suck.

I hate the Yankees even though I'm a Mariners fan. It's not because of their payroll or the chemical or sexual proclivities of the players or Steinbrenner or the Curse of the Bambino or anything like that... I just hate that team. I just want to hate. Is that so wrong?

i hate the yankees...the highlight of the season for me is when they get knocked out of the playoffs...when that happens this season, i *will* start a thread on it even if there are already six other ones...so there!!

Well Every has to like to history of the yankees, I mean they've won more World Series then any other Team. It's just HOW they got the Players to win them.

I'm Definitly Bias i suppose because I'm a Red Sox Fan. But even as a Red Sox Fan, I can Respect what they've done. I Just Wish More teams would Spend like they do, then maybe we would see more World Series Champions.

I know I would've picked more then "root against yankees"

With A-Rod's signing.. I want them to fail horribly, so A-Rod will whine that he wants to be traded to another winning team
