Major online problem - import issues

Hi all,

I have now seen this happen multiple times among multiple different importing teams so I am starting to worry.

heres what heppens.

I import all of my teams from the server (these are all new imports using the same file I have, and note we are all on the current version of the game)

random teams imports are causing teams to lose financial info. (Fan interest & TV Contracts become 0) & Minor League lineups/pitching staffs are emptied.

Any ideas. We have checked just about everything

I've not heard of this but will try to find out more.

Now this is occurring for at least one team slightly differently - just there Minors depth/staff is being emptied (no fan interest/tv contract zeroing out)

weird!!! and bad!!!

You are 100% certain that EVERYONE in the league is using the EXACT same version?

I emailed everyone asking for a reponse w/ the date and time stamp of their file before the season started, and I suggested it again after this happened. Since we have now gone 1 sim w/o a reported issue I am hoping that the affected folks have 'fixed' any file issues. If it occurs again I'll post my findings here.

Are these teams doing a new export after each sim? Also, are these teams fixing their minor leagues before they export?

I have one of the teams that this is happening to. I have been in the league for 4 seasons now and I have not had this problem before. I pretty much do a new export after each sim, nothing special just fine tuning my linups, occassionally set a promotional day, and occassionally promote a player in the minors to the next level. I do not do anything more than that. I let the commish handle the releases, FA pickups, ticket prices, etc.

It has not happened after every export I do but it has happened twice where my Minor league linups are blank when the next sim comes out and my fan interest jumps from 79 to 0. Not only that but I noticed tonight that all the teams that this is happening to now have records of 0-0 in the minor league standing, and our big league fielders are listed under minor league leaders in ERA (i.e. my starting CF in the major level is listed as one of the leaders with a 0.00 era, as are my 2b, ss, lf, rf etc.). There are 4 teams this has happened to in the league this season.

I hope to do some test with officespace, the commish, this weekend. See exactly when this happens, whether after a sim or right after an import.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Ouch, I hope that this isn't a sign of a corrupted league, just odd that it isn't across the board but very spotty.

The Culprit: Using the Team Editor Utility to adjust the player expenses. (We have a rule where we discount contracts of certain players when waived) When this is used it picks a random team in our league and corrupts them. Not the team being edited, but a 'random' one.
