Question
I got a question and I was hoping some people could answer it.
I am trying to make the background multi-colored and then insert and image. When I try to insert the image i need to erase the edges, then I erase the backround. So I redo the background, but the image becomes in the background layer so when I try to move the image everything moves with it. Same thing happens when I paste the image first then color the background. this is the background I am trying to use. because I am doing yellow/red/yellow I make 3 seperate boxes. shouldn't that make 3 different layers?

Can't you erase the edges in a seperate picture and then just paste the finished product onto that background?
