Very fine logo, scotto.

The swords clashing is really good...you can visually hear them.

Also like the way you put RICHMOND in the ribbon and CAVALRY in the rectangle.

Excellent colors, too.

"Calvary" is where Jesus was crucified...

"Cavalry" is a military term...like Custer's 7th Cavalry.

Which did the logo requester want?

I tend to look up all team names in my trusty Merrium Webster Collegiate Edition, for two reasons. One is that I want to make sure I understand all meanings of the name and two I like to make sure I spell it correctly. Education is a life-long commitment. If you combine learning and fun, you are doing well.

That would be my fault. Damn, and to think I'm an English teacher. It was a pronounciation to spelling mistake. Definitely wanted the second one, although the first one would make an "interesting" logo.

It is very easy to make this mistake.

I have viewed the logo about 10 times and only noticed it today.

I had to look up the spelling of each to make sure of it myself.

Either way, it is a very fine logo.
