Importing Single players

I have 2 leagues running side by side and I want to be able to import/export players from one league to another. I have Pierre's Editor, I pick the player I want to import into my other league and then save the league. When I open the league I moved to player to and select any team or the Free Agents, the game crashes. What am I doing wrong? I want to be able to play the Japanese league and move players from both the Japanese league and the Major Leagues from one to another. Please help!!!

You can't import/export players with the game open.

I dont have the game open. Please tell me how do you import players from one league using Pierres editor.

How do you mean the game crashes... if its not open? This is confusing... does Pierre's editor crash, or does the game crash because of the new player, or what?

If you tell me exactly what you are doing and what is happening it will be easier to help you out.

OOTP is not running at the time. I have Pierre's editor open. I load the league I want the players imported to in Pierre's editor. I select the "import players" option and open the league I want to export the player from. I find the player and click IMPORT player. After I do this, I save the league and then close the editor. I then open OOTP3 and load the league I just imported the player to. When i select the Free Agent area the GAME (OOTP) crashes. All I need is for someone to tell me how to use pierre's editor to import players from one OOTP3 league to another OOTP3 league. DZ's editor for High Heat was much easier to do this since it was all self explanitory and it had a help section that explained this. Thanks

Didnt read the post that well. What happens is the game crashes because of the new player.

Did you backup your files before?

yeah I didnt lose anything. I dont understand why it keeps on crashing on me.

When you import your player, can you verify (in the editor) all the stats for the player to see if everything seems to be good?
