Import problem

I posted this on the v4 board but maybe I'll have more success here

I started a historic league on v3 starting in 1903 and have simmed up to the 1912 season. however when i tried to import this league to v4 everything seemed fine except the game crashed when it was done. I opened the game back up and I could open up the league fine but all the players had symbols for names and the financials were way screwed.

I have tried several time to import this league and I get the same results.

I have however successfully imported several of my online leagues with no problems. Just this one solo league is causing me grief. works fine in v3 but would love to get it on v4.

any suggestions?

I had this exact same problem, even down to the crash, the symbols, and the crazy financial info, only it was regarding a challenge league.

Apparently, there are a really small number of leagues that have some sort of flaw that prevent them from being transferred over from v3 to v4. It's fortunate that the number is so small, though it certainly doesn't feel like it for those of use who are part of that minority.

In the end, it's not a terribly large problem, as OOTP4 is so terrifically entertaining that it's still more than worthwhile to start over again, but it certainly is hard to accept the loss of Series-winning teams and players that you've grown to appreciate.

Yeah this is a challenge league or a career league where I control the cubs lol
