Feel lucky? Put it to the test with the Random Access Baseball League!

The gist of the league is this: you fill out a roster request form deciding where you want to spend your money (you have $75 million to spend).
You also decide how long of a contract you want each slot to have (you can sign 90-years worth of contracts)

Then, once all the teams have their requests in, the commish (I will not run a team) will run a random draft pulling players for each slot. There will always be a small chance of getting more than you paid for (and on the flip side, less than you deserve), but hey that's why it takes some luck.

EDIT: One thing I forgot to mention - all players will be normalized to the modern era before importing.

I'll be adding this to the league's website soon, but wanted to get it up here too - the initial players will enter the league in either their rookie season or a season they played in which ended in a '1' - this will be randomly determined (of course) and also will help ensure that not too many of the players are either rookies or geezers.

And again, the players will all be normalized to the modern era's style - so dead ball players will actually have some pop in their bats.

Also wanted to say that I know the webpage is a bit vague on the details, so here are a few more:

we'll sim each weekday, alternating 7 & 8 gameday sims to complete a month every fourth sim.

we will use financials and coaches/scouts will be turned off

the playoff structure will depend on the number of teams we end up with (five so far), but it will be at least a LCS and WS setup.

More as I think of them, so expect edits....

I'm continuing to improve the homepage - I will be adding some graphics and so on to it and obviously once the league is full and I put up the league file and OOTP pages for the league, things will be much "spiffier"
