Eugene Church needs Bayview Vikings logo

I just created a great new fictional league and need 20 new logos.

I hope you guys will help me again.

I will post them one at a time over the next few months. It might take longer to do this time as we don't seem to have as many logo designers as we used to.

Here is the first one...hope you don't mind the suggestions.

Try it my way...if you have a better idea than mine...do it your way.

Please make them uncluttered and easy to read with both city and nickname...not too fancy or modern...with good contrast between background, mascot and lettering...with framing on the borders.

Please make sure the BLACK doesn't show up with the WHITE dots...think it is a transparency problem that causes this...at least that what I have read.

BAYVIEW VIKINGS
COLORS: PURPLE, LAVENDER (LIGHT PURPLE), BRIGHT ORANGE, AND YELLOW (Use BRIGHT YELLOW)

LAYOUT:
VIKING SYMBOL IN THE CENTER..."VIKINGS" IN PURPLE LETTERING TRIMMED IN LAVENDER (LT. PURPLE) PLACED BELOW THE VIKING SYMBOL...LETTERING CAN BE CURVED...PUT "BAYVIEW" IN LAVENDER (LT. PURPLE) LETTERING TRIMMED IN PURPLE PLACED ABOVE THE VIKING SYMBOL...Yes, I intentionally switched the colors on Bayview and Vikings, hoping Vikings will be more prominent...ALL ON A WHITE BACKGROUND.

PUT LAVENDER (LT. PURPLE) AND PURPLE FRAME AROUND IT.

Don't let my suggestions interfere with your creativity. Many times you designers come up with a much better logo than me.
Try my ideas first, then do it your way...or if you like, just do it your way and skip mine.

I intend to eventually set up a website for my league and do something special like DreamTeams great Metro League site, where he has created wonderful baseball communities on a mythical island. If you haven't seen it, you need to...It's great.
