Any reason to wait

I have been gone a couple weeks and was going to order game today but saw a post that patches will be in a 2.0 update within a couple days.

Is there any advantage to waiting and if not do I just need the latest patch?

There really doesn't seem to be any reason to wait.

Also, here is the thread where it mentions that a 1.2 patch should be out soon.

Sorry - I meant 1.2 not 2.0.
