I am using OOTP3 and starting a league for the first time. We put all the players in a pool and are doing an initial draft. We set all scouts to average. Let me repeat that. We set all scouts to average. But after a few people picked their players for the draft, I used the Master HTML Export and uploaded all the pages again and the updated list of free agents had different ratings. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Do coaches have an effect on what player ratings appear to be????

I'm not really positive about this but figured I'd offer my 20 bucks anyway <Yes, because my opinion is worth more than two cents, it is worth 20 bucks>. I've noticed that even if two scouts ratings are the same sometimes players talents will be different with them. It's kind of annoying if I trade for a Prospect that is projected to be an Ace with Brilliant Hits, Good HRs and BBs, and Brilliant Ks, then my scout has him Good Hits, Brilliant HRs, Fair BBs, Average Ks and brings him down a couple of notches. Just something I've noticed.

This question was double posted - here is the link to the other post:
<a href="http://www.ootpbb.com/board/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=000567" target="_blank">1st answers...</a> The reason is they are "different" average rated scouts BTW ...
