Illegal Operation

I downloaded Rolentest2 roster set, and when I try to play I keep getting an Illegal Operation. I will close, open it back up, I'll get another two or three days in and again I get the Illegal Operation. Is it the roster set, my computer, my OOTP, or what?

If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated, I planned on using these rosters for my league that is going to satrt up soon, and I really can't have this happening to me, because it doesn't save the stats when that happens, just standings.

Just read ***ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENTION*** post. Sorry about that.

My OS is Windows 98, RAM is *sigh* 64MB, free space 1.5GB. I need a new PC lol. This hasn't happened to me before with other roster sets or whatever. Sometimes it freezes on me, but it's rare.
Hope that's enough info.

Have you checked all the rosters, pitching staffs and depth charts? If any of these are invalid the game will crash. (I'd suggest, going to League Setup -> League Setup -> Run Computer Manager)

Try this and see if this helps anything.

Does this happen after you have been running your PC awhile w/o a fresh boot?

It decided to work.

Also for some reason it freezes on a certain game at times, and the only way around that is to play then sim to the end which is fine, but when it freezes I lose all the saved stats for that season. Anyway to prevent that?

Sounds like it could be some lineup/rotation issues, try running the "all team computer owned" in the league setup and see if that helps.
