My biggest complaint about this game
I get ready to fight a few bouts and then think "I wonder what has been posted at the Forum?" You guys are so interesting, I spend the next hour or so browsing your comments and drifting off into your universe, I forget where I was going in mine. Great Product, great bunch of guys using it. Thank you. One more thing. Please don't use Chico Vejar as fodder for the higher ranked fighters. He was one of the hero's of my youth. I would be sitting at my fathers side watching the Gillette Calvalcade of Sports and his name really caught my fancy.

Sorry, Fred. We'll try to be dumber from now on ... LOL!

I think thats really a great point Malcom. I'd say that I wouldn't find the game half as enjoyable without this forum to communicate and listen to others ideas about the game and the universes they have constructed.

Vejar, like southpaw college grad Chuck Davey, was one of the first television-hyped fighters. My father grew up on these broadcasts, and these are among the names he brings up a lot.

I agree 100%...in fact, I told my wife the best part about this whole thing is the "boards." Great game, great boards, and believe me, I've never posted like this in all the time I've had my computers...Everyone, keep up the good work.

I find myself checking out the forum on a daily basis (thank God for the white envelopes telling me where I left off) Strange, my boxing universe suffers attention due to all the time spent here on the forum, but gets some good ideas for improvement.
Off I go now to check out "cornerwork" and the box rec site and lose some more universe time. |

I agree I think I read the boards more than play the game. Just do me a favor and don't post any more Larry Holmes stuff or I'll be arguing for another week and talking on the phone with my friends about him.

You know what would be cool? Coding into the game the ability to read and post on the forum. And have a publish button so you could post round by round news on your matches

Hey darthpb,
If Holmes ever goes on this sight, I'm a dead man. But then again, he may duck me. (lol) Gus

Probably wouldn't be hard to get him here, Gus, he's on his own site's board nearly every day...http://www.larryholmes.com/messagebo...ard=champ_chat
Seems like a pretty good guy, actually. I think you're safe.
