Cannot start game

I am having trouble loading the game. I bought ootp3 last year, and it used to work fine. I haven't played it in a while but wanted to play today and kept getting this message:

I tried to uninstall and reinstall but still got the same message please help.

Have you changed anything on your computer since you last played it?

Do you have the latest Directx drivers?

Have you recently installed XP?

Are you running at the right resolution?

It sounds like you changed something in your system and the game didn't like it.

One final question... did you delete the league that the game used to boot up into (the default league)? If so you'll need to create a league file with that leagues name. (I'm not optimistic that this was the problem, because it should have been corrected when you uninstalled then reinstalled the game).

I do have the latest directx files.

I am running it in the right resolution.

I did not delete the default league file.

I am running on windows 98.

I might have changed something on my computer but do not know for sure whatit would be. Any suggestions?
