League logo request

I will throw this one out there for anyone who wants to take a stab at it...

I am looking for a league banner/logo for the Cooperstown Chronicle Baseball League (CCBL -- web site here), a historical league playing in the early 1930s. Currently, my "banner" is a simple picture of Lou Gehrig...nothing fancy at all.

I wouldn't be looking for anything much -- something simple, capturing the game of the time. In staying with the style of the web site, I'd be looking for something in black & white/grayscale.

Take a look at the league site for ideas. Like I said, I am just throwing this out for the hell of it: I appreciate anything you guys come up with, but I have no expectations.

Here is a shot. I think you were looking for a 150 x 150 logo of where Mr. Gehrig goes but i think that looks nice. This is more along the lines of where you have the full name of the league. hopefully it will fit, i couldnt tell what the width and stuff.

Nice work, SanDiegoPadres19. Simple, clean look. I do like it.

I should have been more specific in what I was looking for. Depending on what's offered, I can replace that entire row with Gehrig's picture and the league name -- so we are looking at a width of up to 700 pixels. To fit nicely, we're probably looking more in the 600-650 pixel range.

But this is nice. I'll plug it in and see how it looks. Thanks for the effort!
