Historical league (1958) has opening

Playball is about to start the offseason heading into 1958 and needs a new owner for the St. Louis Cardinals.

The league began in 1954. Check the site in the link above. Read the rules. If you are interested, email the commissioner. There is a link on the website.

One of the unique things about this league is that you must contribute $3 a season towards the purchase the coveted 'Cooley Cap'.

The coveted 'Cooley Cap' is purchased thru the Cooperstown Ballcap Co. and is presented to the World Series winner.

Many have tried to capture this coveted cap, but few have stood victorious sporting their spiffy ballcap.

If you just have to have the Cardinals in an historical league, but it doesn't matter that it isn't 1958, you may want to check out the ACL.
