OOTP5 Player Editor?
I don't know if this has been asked before, but does anyone know where there is a player editor for OOTP5? The only editor I could find is for OOTP4.

Um...it's included in the game itself.

There is a career editor and a player importer that work with OOTP5. I should have saved the link but I didn't. I'll see if I can dig one up.

You can find it here at Tresclub's site under Pierre's utilities:

Which one is supposed to be for OOTP4?
I see the player editor listed for OOTP5.

PE2 was for OOTP4 if I remember correctly.
Make a backup of your league, and try it. This way you wont loose anything.

Guys,
I just tried using PE2 for an OOTP 5 league, and the league information comes up correctly. However, if you try and look at player information, you end up showing either no information on players, or just some interesting characters which are not legible. Thanks, Jay Conley |

I tried it on the OOTP plaer rosters and it works.
Curious...would this work on the salary info too? Thanks.

OK...PE2 was for OOTP4, but the League file was the same as OOTP5, that's why you can see information and that's why the players dont showup correclty. Please make sure you use it for OOTP4 only, unless you can have bad surprise. |

Also, the last I remember, Pierre said he had no plans to create a Player Editor for OOTP5 (although I hope he has since decided to re-consider!).

After all (and correct me if I'm wrong), didn't he create the Player Editor for OOTP4 after OOTP5 came out?
