Transferring league to another computer

Does anyone know how I can successfullly transfer my league to another computer?

My Desktop is about dead, so I tried to transfer my league to my laptop without success. I burned it onto a CD and tried to just copy the folder into the OOTP directory. Didn't work. I read that the problem may be that the CDR files were read-only. So I changed the permissions and it didn't work.

I also tried to create a backup on my desktop and restore it on my laptop. Also didn't work.

Any suggestions on fixing this would be greatly appreciated.

It would work if you simply change the files to "archive" instead of read-only.

Do I make all the files Archive or just the .DAT files?

If you have access to a portable ZIP drive, copy your league folder to the zip drive, then to the other PC (under the ootp directory).
