No matter what I do I can't get these stadium pictures to work in the game. I can get any others to work, but for some very strange reason I cannot get these to work.

Are they .bmps? Are the names too long? (If the name is too long it exceeds the character string length and the game will have issues, keep the names as short as possible). I'd assume they are in the graphics folder.

They are 24-bit bmp's in the Graphics folder, I tried renaming and then even resaving them as names as simple as GIANTS.bmp and they still don't work.
This is quite frustrating, becuase like I said, I can get any bitmaps to work except for the ones I downloaded from the 1995 Tony Larussa set. I opened the bmp's in Paint and they look just fine to me. |

Do they show up when you hit test coordinates in the ballpark editor?
Did the stadium set come with park.dat and parkcfg.dat files? Have you assigned the stadiums to the teams via the Team Setup Screen? |

They don't show up in the Test Coordinates, I did assign the stadiums to the teams, and I'm using the .dat files that Soxman made for Ultimate Ballpark Collection.
EDIT--I corrected which .dat files I'm using. [ 04-28-2002, 02:14 AM: Message edited by: Incubus3000 ] |

If they don't show up in the test coordinates than you likely aren't pointing to the right image... or you didn't put the image name in the right blank.
The stadium name needs to be in the In Game Picture File blank. In your case it would say Giants.bmp See this image: |

Like I said, I know how to do it, and I can get any files to work besides these! Maybe, just maybe, could someone please download this set and tell me if it works for them?

Incubus,
Yes the files work... how did you convert them to BMPs? My guess is the conversion didn't work... |

When I downloaded the zip file, they were all already in BMP's. . . . Maybe I should download it again
