Need Help On Ootp5

i just got the game a couple of weeks ago but i do have a few qualms. First of all, theres no FA period where teams bid for FA's, this was a total turnoff as almost all teams have basically the same rosters in the following season. Is there anyway where i can make FA bids? Also the graphics seem to be screwed up on the opening menu where the navigation bars appear just white. Lastly, you cant even see the players names on the lineup screens which can b very frustrating. If any of u guys can help that would be great, thanks!

My screens looked faded and were hard to read when I got OOTP5.

I was advised to go to the OOTP5 folder and look in game configuration and disable Direct 3D.

This solved my problem.

You are most likely playing in replay mode.

Thanks guys, i also figured out how to get the Coaches/Free Agents signing period, now this game makes sense now, obviously the best sports simulation game out there.
