Free Agent Problem

I expanded my league in 1963 and added two teams and ran regular free agency and the amateur draft with no problem. Then I went to fill out the two expansion teams squads with FA's and when I type in a contract value and years there is no response, no comment, nor a button to sign a contract. I am able to sign minor league contracts. This is the first I've seen in the 63 years of my league. I expanded once before in 1961 and everything worked smooth.

Did you give the teams money?

Aye, both expansion teams have plenty of money as they went through the free agent bidding process fine. This is prior to the first game and after spring training. If I do not offer the players enough money a comment will come up, also.

Strange, have you tried closing the game and opening it again(not sure why I'm telling you this but couldn't hurt).

Yes, even tried restarting the computer, I might try it again, otherwise I'm baffled. I've never seen this before and I've simmed 100s of seasons.

Problem solved, I forgot to add team abbreviations when adding my expansion teams. Everything works fine now, thanks for your help.
