I just started a new fictional league (4.0c) and I'm noticing a lot more position player fatigue. The league I started with 4.0a never seemed to get the fatigue tweak that patches b and/or c brought. My catchers seemed to be tired a proper amount, maybe just a little less than usual, but other positions turned up tired very seldomly.
Now, in the league I created with 4.0c, I'm seeing MUCH more player fatigue than in my previous league, which is a good thing. I just found it strange that the changes in the player fatigue system didn't seem to be coming into play for my previous league. Has anyone else noticed this? |

I have not noticed it, but I agree with you - if that is so it's a good thing. Keep in mind that certain position players will have more stamina than others, so it's going to be a very tough thing to accurately judge unless you compare the same league in 4.0a versus 4.0c. If you happen to have a lineup of mostly Cal Ripken types, you are not going to see them get tired all that often

It will force owners to rethink their lineups and specifically how many pitcher they will carry. Pre-OOTP4 I would carry 12+ pitchers on the roster and play the 8 guys in the lineup until injury or death...
Now platooning some and an absolute requirement is to use the depth charts now. Good addition to the game!
