can't read anything: graphics issues

I'm having an obsecnely hard time reading the text in the game, how can I change the colors to alleviate this?

The "game setup" options only offers me the "change skin" option, and there is only the default to choose from.

help!

Does disabling Direct3D in the graphics configuration help?

Is this something in windows, or the game itself? I see nothing in the game setup control panel that mentions Direct3D.

When you install the game, there should be a second icon for Game Configuration. I don't have it handy so I can't double check the name, but if it's not there, you can run "ITP Configuration.exe" in the folder you installed the game into.
