Wildhawke Needs Help Please

If you have mobile licenses (see the question about moving licenses), you should unlicense before you format the drive. Then when you are finished and have re-installed the eLicensed software, re-license. If your license is not mobile, you should contact us or the publisher with your intent to re-format.

Can someone help this old chap out. All this licensing is all new to me and i am not sure if my licence is a mobile one or not.

My problem is i have somehow picked up a virus JAVA_BYTVERIFY.A in spite of having two virus checkers on this comp WIN XP.
Several time i thought i had managed to kill it but NO it comes back so it looks like i will have to reformat my drive.

Question - do i need to unlicense first or get in touch with Viatech.
Better still does anyone know a program that i can get which will help kill the damn virus.

Unlicense first Danny. Then do what you have to do . Try PulpFact's great link, first. IF you do have to reformat, unlicense the game before you do it.

I have used trendmicro before as well as about two other online virus checkers, then of course i have my own two

At the moment none of them has found this virus so you think it has gone.

At the moment it seems i am clear, but as i said i was given the all clear a couple of times then it reappeared.

Still praying this time it wont come back but to be honest not to hopeful.

Thanks Dale for the info on the licence issue, i so hope that i don't have to do a full reformat, because it takes about 4 days to bring it all back up to scratch LOL
