Logo Request - Fairfax Frogs

I was hoping someone could whip up a team logo for me. Team would be the Fairfax Frogs. I was thinking maybe something with a rather menacing (ha!) poison dart frog or something in blue and greens. Its in honor of a swim team I was on for many years as a child....

Thanks!

A menacing frog is a tall order.

Thanks!

Absolutely awesome. The first one is great, but the second one is amazing. Thanks!

I realize I posted less then a minute ago, but I'm in awe of the second logo. I don't know how you did it, but you entirely captured the feel of my old swim team in it, and is similar ot some of the logos we used over the years. Except ten times better

I can't express how good it feels to make someone happy with a logo. I am glad I could help.

"RIB IT...RIB IT...RIB IT"....that's frog talk for "three cheers for scotto".

Extremely well done...great concept...colors...design...contrast.

scotto, you stated in the Little Rock Pines thread, you couldn't add trim.

Is it your software or lack of knowledge?

If it's knowledge, get dbacks, Cuss16, Markmeister, Shub, nmleague, knuckler, or some of the logo experts to teach you.
I think they would be happy to help you.

That's the only thing lacking in your logos.

Keep up the great work.

I have a cheap little known graphics program called Becker Draw. It does not have a guide. I have been learning how to use it as I go. To my knowledge, it cannot add trim to lettering. If I figure out the secret or get a better program in the future, I would love to add some trim.

If you can't add trim, your could always add text and then impose text in another color over the top of the first color slightly off of the first group of text. I use this technique alot and it works. Sort of like a shadowing effect. I used to do this a lot in the early 80's when I was programming DBASE/DOS applications and wanted to add "graphics" .

Another way of doing this is to paste a text image in white then add a color text over the white in a slightly smaller width font. It just takes playing around but I am sure your program can do this.
