Leauge approaching 13th season has openings

The ACL is in late August of it's 12th season.

This long running league is an historical all-star type league. We sim 3 times a week, 7 days at a time. That gives the owners time to study and appreciate their teams. (Or so they tell me).

The San Diego Padres and St. Louis Cardinals are open.

This is a difficult league as just reading the ratings doesn't really tell you much. You must study the history of the player's performances to make an semi-educated judgement as to their worth.

The league is a challenge. If you are up to working a team, this league may be for you.

So what is it?

My prickly personality?
The league has been around too long?
Too many teams?
Not enough teams?
Too difficult?
Too easy?
Unpleasant ownership group?
7 day sims are too much?
7 day sims are too little?
PHP-Nuke websites suck?
Any leagues with Canadians in them is no good?

I don't get it. A long-lasting league with reasonably stable ownership and no interest at this time. I really don't understand.

Anyhow, 2 teams still available.

It may say that Mr. Cook is only a batboy, but in my mind he is a bat MAN.

Padres are gone. Cardinals are still available.

(I hope Mr. Cook is not one of them Canucks, eh).

I think the old avatar scared and intimidated too many people. I am trying for the kinder, gentler approach.

Then once they are sucked in, I will stab them thru the heart! That is why Bea is such a hearthrob!

And thanks for noticing. Maybe one day you can join Andy, Barney, Floyd, Helen, Thelma Lou, and the rest of the gang for some home made preserves.
