Post league import finances

The patch improved this a bit, but I still don't get it. Here are the before and after of the LAST year's finances when I imported my OOTP3 league.

Attendance: 31,167,812 same
Att. Rev.: $24,854,519 $31,678,120
Broad. Rev.: $38,296,482 $31,000,000
Merch. Rev.: $33,600,551 $ 9,295,285
Playoff Rev: $ 4,255,397 $ 0
Salary: $83,357,008 $70,084,920
Profit: $17,649,941 $1,888,485

[Edit: When I typed it up, this comparison was nice and neat - I hope it's still legible.]

I'm mystified. I don't know why there would be any change in the PRIOR year's numbers. If there's some need for that, I can understand the attendance revenue adjustment, to account for the new ticket price system, and a corresponding adjustment in total broad/merch revenue to adjust back. Instead, while it shows a attendance revenue of about $7 mil more, the total B/M revenue it shows is $32 mil less. And why no playoff revenue? Etc., etc. This looks to me like it still needs a major revision - until then, I don't see how online leagues can make the transition.

Was this import made using the most recent update of patch b?

Um...there's an update of the patch, but it has the same version ID? That's weird... What does it fix?

I'm not sure if there's any more detail to give. If you want it, the zip file for the original OOTP3 league is at the "league file" button at:
<a href="http://fastbaseball.tripod.com/" target="_blank">http://fastbaseball.tripod.com/</a>

The team I gave was Cleveland, but they're all messed up in one way or another. It seems like the program uses this year's salary for last year's salary, and then sets everything else based on about a $1.5 mil profit.

Update: I downloaded the 4.0b patch again, to make sure I had the right version, and got the same result.

From the abasence of response, I'm concluding that no one else knows what's going on here. I hope the powers are on top of this, b/c my online league is planning on switching to OOTP4 in about a month. I guess we could manually fix it all, but then I'm worried about the way the whole thing is supposed to fit together, b/c, e.g., of the change in ticket pricing, and the new broadcasting contract system. From the way it looks, I'm guessing that $10 is the "normal" ticket price, so that if the team changes its ticket price from $7 to $10 in the change to OOTP4, it won't affect loyalty, etc. We could then adjust the other numbers to fit the new ticket revenue. But then I wonder what the fan interest is, independent of loyalty...

Yeesh.

Bump - I would really appreciate it if someone would give me word that the problem is known and at least being considered. Even if there's no word on when this might be fixed, if I knew the message was received I could shut up. The fact that the finances have already been patched once, and that my posts about this have met with uncharacteristic silence, are making me wonder...

Thanks.

Bump. The nice doctor said there's medicine I can take to keep me from talking to myself.
