Dragging players in Transactions

Hi.

I've been using OOTP4 for a few weeks and am in the 19th season. All out of nowhere, the game won't allow me to drag and drop guys to promote/demote them. All it does is bring up their player profile.

I've checked my mouse settings including reinstalling the Logitech driver. The mouse works fine everywhere else. Any ideas as to why I can't drag and drop any more in the transactions screen?

All i can think of is that you accidentally switched the team to computer controlled. This could happen by way of the button on the roster screen, or the "set all teams to CPU controlled" one in league setup.

The game will not allow too many of any position on a minor league roster at a time, 3rd basemen or whatever position. If you have too many it will not allow it or as JML says you may have "computer controlled" minors enabled.

Thanks guys, but "none of the above". This may be a bug based on other actions I ddi in the offseason. As the Free Agent time came and I could put in my day 1 bids, I went ahead and smoked the texas and Montreal teams and imported them from the lahman 4.0 DB. I then closed out and, to my surprise, the entire Free Agent period was skipped and I was dropped into the Rookie Draft. I finished the rookie draft. That is when I could no longer work my rosters. BTW - the same thing happen in trying to edit lineups/rotations. Also, the schedule was March 1. So I simmed from March 1 to end of month (only 1 game in March). Still no luck in being able to drag/drop. Simmed into April, got an injury and still can't drag/drop.

I'm lost. It's not a minors/too many players at one position, because the lack of drag/drop happens in things like trying to alter my rotation.
