whatever happened to mlb1966?

i used to be an owner in mlb1966, and i'm just wondering what happened to the league. did it finally fold, or is it still lurking around?

sadly it has (assumed) died a slow death over the past 6 months. This was my first league I joined two years ago and had a blast in it. Last message was asking for somebody to take over the reigns of the commish job. Unfortunately there also were many open teams the last couple of seasons. I still have it in my favorites, just in case.

For a league that changed Commish 3 or 4 times, it did great to hang around for so long. I believe it may have been my first OOTP league as well, with Don Krause converting from FPS98 and bringing across most of the owner base. Then he handed the reigns to Jeff Hazlett, then to Drew Baltzley, then to someone else. It was great to see that the core owner base stayed along for the ride during the Commish changes, which kept the league strong. RIP!

Hell, I was an original owner and even enjoyed the league and I don't enjoy anything.

What ever happened to Isi? Did he have a deal for you, or what!

Isi was a dude. I think he set a record for online leagues, by having the same player (Rick Monday) on the trading block every week for 6 years.
