Looking at the polls results so far, I would say that 75% of people have no clue....

[offtopic] Please god let them hire Mike Stoops! [/offtopic] My father attended and I support, one of the schools involved with the best rivalry in sports, as Lou Holtz used to call them, The University of the Navy. (Gooooooooo Navy! Beat Army!) As for the conference that plays the best football, there is no doubt in my mind that from top to bottom the best football is played in the SEC. Lets list some of the teams, Georgia, Tennesee, LSU, Ole Miss, and Florida, a full 5 of the top 15 in the BCS rankings. In addition to schools with storied football histories like Auburn and Alabama. As for the league that is the most competitive top to bottom every year, not to mention the most underrated of the BCS six conferences, The Pac-10. Besides Arizona, , any team can beat any other team in the league every year. They hardly ever get anyone to the championship game because they do a fine job of beating each other up during the season.Notice I said of the most underrated of the six BCS conferences! I personally think the most exciting football almost every year is played in the MAC. A hella good league for an exciting game to watch. But to each his own...

I lived in Ann Arbor for a year and had the privlidge of seeing Elvis Grbac in his first ever college game. Michigan beat Wisconsin that day and the rest is history.

The Pac-10!!?? LOL the WORST BCS conference period. Year in and Year out theres usually only about 3 decent teams in the conference. As for the SEC I would say this year it is probably the strongest but historically no conference has as many top programs as the Big 10. Also, as someone who has been to both the Army/Navy game and an OSU/Michigan game, the OSU/Michigan game is a bigger rivalry, I haven't been to the Iron Bowl so I will hold off judgement on that

Most overrated Conference: Big Ten*
Most underrated Conference: Pac 10 Best Football is played: SEC/Big XII (I'll give the nod to the SEC) However, I think the OSU/MICHIGAN game is one of - if not the - best rivalries in college football. I don't care for either team all that much, but if OSU wins I think they deserve a shot to defend their National Title. Now, the game I am interested in is Mizzou @ K-State --- a Missouri win should net the Big XII North!! Uphill battle, but...

I don't understand how the Big Ten is the most overrated. They have actually played really good football this season. Yeah, Northwestern, Indiana, Illinois, and Penn State does suck, but Purdue, Wisconsin, Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, and Iowa have played good football.
IMO, a conference with 7 good teams is not overrated. |

As much as I want them to win the National Championship again, I don't know if OSU will. I attended that school last year and they won, and I'm not there this year. I was their good luck charm in my own mind.

How exactly is the pac-10 under rated? The conference sucks plain and simple. Take all of the BCS conferences and there is no logical explanation to have them anywhere but ranked last among them.

Michigan - 13 Michigan will have a shot on the final drive, but will be stopped in OSU territory.
