I'm probably an idiot...but...
What is the deal with Stadium Rennovations? How do you do them? I see them all the time in dynasty reports, online leagues, etc. Is there a way to do them in the game, or are people just making house rules?
Also, in my solo league, everyone plays at Old League Park. If I make a renovation to the Allentown Aces Old League Park, will it effect the home stadium of all teams?

Go into the league setup menu. One of the options you should see is edit stadiums. Not sure, but it may be in the advanced section of league setup, they won't let me play this at work just yet, so i don't have the game in front of me. You also have the option of creating a new stadium there. Then assign you team that stadium in your team setup screen and they will be the only ones using it.

what are some of people's house rules for renovating? I've considered doing it but never really taken the time to come up with any kind of system that I would stick to

If you peruse some online league rules, there are numerous ways of adding stadiums and charging your team appropriately.
