5.14 Patch Released?

5.14 Patch

From the newsletter it sounds like the patch has arrived!

The last official patch for OOTP 5 is now available. Here is the list of important fixes/enhancements:
Fixed problems that were introduced with the release player option for online leagues. The game will no longer perform releases during the FA and amateur draft, and during the season will ask the commissioner for permission to release a player during imports
Improved playoff rotation AI
Fixed 'Phantom Double Play' bug
Fixed extention bug which caused a player demanded more money when offered exactly what he asked for
Enhanced contract extention algorythms. Some players will now give you more chances than others for extended contract talks, and also comment on their current mood, giving you a hint on how to proceed with negotiations

When was the newsletter released? Why isn't it online? Why isn't the patch off the ootpdevelopments site, like the others?

It's coming off that you were either given wrong information, or are giving wrong information. Please clear this up at your earliest convenience.

I found this link in the price drop thread: OOTP Newsletter

I downloaded the file from the link (ootp514.zip), fired up the game and it seems to work. Now only time will tell if the problems have been fixed

Why wasnt a thread posted with the new patch being announced..

I seems safe enough. It's off the ootpdevelopments web site.

As far as there being no announcement - maybe everyone is out. It is Friday night you know

I just noticed it when looking over the newsletter link in the price drop thread that scooter meantioned.

So any information I have came from there.

If I have been deceived that OOTP newsletter is the source of the deceit and am not intentionally providing any wrong information.

Yes, thank you. I apologize. I couldn't find it, and didn't get an email, nor saw a link here. I have since found it...and have begun drooling over ITP.

The newsletter was apparently uploaded on the evening of the 14th(in Germany on their time) and to be released or sent on the 15th(tomorrow U.S. time). I have not gotten it in my email and I get it ahead of time. It's up to you as far as using it but it HAS NOT been officially released.

I think the point is that until it is "announced" it could be changed. It's common to upload the files before the annoucement goes out - yet with the time difference, it's difficult sometimes to get things done within a short period of time. Although the file currently there "might" be the final release, it's NOT guaranteed until the announcement makes it official

Does any one know when the website and elicense will actually reflect the price drop for the game? According to elicense customer support, the price is still $34.95 for OOTP5.

Not officially released, but its on the ootpdevelopements website downloads section? I think someones got their wires crossed.
