I found a bug!!!

I'm sure it has already be reported (I never get to be first!) but ...

Here is what happened:

My player is hit by a pitch. He charges the mound. A fight breaks out... bot players are ejected.

I choose a pinch-runner for my guy and go ahead and assign him to the field position.

Go back into the game and the pinch-runner is listed in the lineup, but the guy on base is the one who was plunked and ejected. He even scores a run later in the inning!

Not a biggie, but heh, at least I found a bug...

This existed in OOTP3, as well. Low priority, I guess.

I just had a similar problem:

Playing 4.0c, batter gets hit by pitch with guy on first. Batter gets injured as a result of the malicious fastball, so I put a pinch runner. The pinch runner has no destroyed the fabric of space and time and is now on first AND second base.

The doublemint twins from first and second eventually score and get credited for 2 runs.
