Interleague Play...substituting NL pitcher Help!!

I ran into a dilemma last night.. I am playing a season was playing a 2002 game between Colorado and Toronto at Toronto...but couldn't substitute my pitcher that needed much relief in a tight situation.... I had relievers warmed up but could put them in the line up anywhere....any suggestions or help with this??

You sub them in the little space where the current pitcher is listed "above" the warm-up pitcher area.

Thanks...I tried that and it didn't seem to work...my relief just disappeared back into the roster screen
