Cato Utility Problem!

I went through all the steps in the instructions, got ready to import stats, but when i hit the button, I get the following error:

"There is a problem importing line 2 in the file \league.csv.

Open this file in Notepad, uncheck Word Wrap (under Edit). Examine the above line for odd characters, fix, and try again."

I can't find any "odd characters" persay, but I'm not really sure what I'm looking for.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem? Or can anyone take a look at my csv file and tell me what's wrong with it? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

The file looks different than my file, but I am using the exporter for OOTP4. I'd say make double sure the CommishJoe Exporter you use is the one from Jeff cato's site. not the latest/greatest on other sites or the one the comes with BOSI. Several people were able to solve their import issues by using the other Exporter.

Interesting that this solved it, lol, since both filenames are "exporter5.zip" I assumed them to be identical. Thanks for the help!

Sorry I was late to this, I have been slacking.. but the error you posted is one you get from using exporter 5.1 (or whatever the newest one from AUgust was called). I run into this every time I run Cato's history because I always forget and have to redo it

Damn, thats unfortunate as I'm still trying to find anyone willing to help me get a real website for my league put together (all I have right now is BOSI). If anyone knows anyone, please let me know

I'd even be willing to pay!
