A free agent I signed keeps being realesed

It is an online league, and Charles Johnson was realesed a few days ago. Then I signed him as a Free Agent to a team 2 days ago

The next day it says he is realesead, and it wasnt me who did it

SO i signed him on another team, then traded him to that team who he should be on, and i just made a fake player to trade back

then today, he was realesed by that same team he should be on

what is goin on here? anyone know what i do to stop this?

Patch 5.13 allowed the online owner to release players on their own. How this is done.. it looks at the EXPORT of the owner.. compared to the MASTER file (commish) and finds players that are missing from the export and releases them in the master file. Make sense?

So.. what is happening.. you are signing the FA's.. then importing roster right? So the master file has the player on the new teams roster.. UNTIL you import that teams lineups.. then it acts as a release.. because he's not in the exported lineups. Makes sense.

so then why is it the master ...its more like the ....non-master..
but i gather thisis being correctec or somesuch.....it really becomes a problem if there are salaries involved, butif not its an easy fix - just re-sign players to team (assuming they don't want any $$$)..
