Post Realignment Messes up Team ID Tags

For some reason, the game refuses to acknowledge teams that switch divisions in a realignment. We consolidated a few teams last season and moved a few others - 3 divisions down to 2 in each league - and for some reason, the game thinks some teams are in the other division. It messes things up in terms of player of the week/month awards and other things (a player in the International LEague would win the North American POW award.

Is there any way to fix this?

Cheers and thanks,

Dean

Known bug, and unfortunately I haven't found a way to fix it... although you might want to take a look at Pierre's editor and see what that says for the league setup, I kind of stumbled across a way I think of fixing the issues that crop up if you switch a team from the AL to NL that was messing up the DH rule.

Pierre's editor is available at <a href="http://www.bigcitybaseball.com" target="_blank">http://www.bigcitybaseball.com</a>

Good luck

That's great news about Pierres editor being a possible fix for that issue Scott, I'll have to futz around with it for team ID switch problems (Note: In case anyone didn't know, his player editor and csv reporter are awesome utils).

Yeah I happened to notice in the editor each team has a "use DH" checkbox. So something tells me that when we switch leagues its not being changed appropriately. This would indicate that hopefully we could simply check or uncheck the box and fix the issue. Although I haven't tested this yet, I may test it in one of my leagues that I don't really care about just to see if it works at somepoint..
